IASTM - Extension of my body to better help yours

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is utilized for treatment of myofascial tissue in the body.
Myofascial tissue is the fascia (connective tissue) that surrounds the muscles in the body.
With training in the use of these tools, I am able to provide a specific treatment in areas that have restrictions. By releasing restrictions in the fascia of the body it may help improve mobility of the tissue being treated.

Benefits of Soft Tissue Mobilization

It has also been show to help with the development of functional scar tissue in the body, be helpin the colleges fibres to form systemically instead of randomly.

Personal Experience

From personal experience in a clinical setting an treatin myself I have found a great benefit of the tools.
On myself I have found a way that has helped relax my systems in a more effect manner, especially in areas that are more difficult to reach when self treating. It also has helped me get deeper into tissues that are causing me epersona discomfort.

When I use them in a clinical setting I have found I am able to get deeper into tissues with less strain on my body which means I am able to treat more areas on a client with less fatigue keeping the pressure through a massage more consistent. I have also often reports of more movement in areas that tools have been utilized on, with less time and pressure used.
